Organic tiger nut puree, 450 g jar
Unpasteurized, gluten-free, no added sugar
We are very pleased to offer you exclusively and in partnership with the company Tigernuts a Tiger nut puree, certified organic, gluten-free, vegan, and allergen-free. Without additives or preservatives, it is the most complete and natural alternative to traditional nut butters.
🟤 This tiger nut puree retains the original properties and nutrients of the tiger nut, a millennia-old tuber also known as "chufa" and appreciated for centuries for its nutritional and medicinal qualities. It is the fruit of the perennial rhizomatous herbaceous plant called "Chufa" (Cyperus esculentus). It was already highly prized in Ancient Egypt! Highly appreciated in sub-Saharan Africa and Spain, its uniquely naturally sweet taste is reminiscent of hazelnut or almond.
Thanks to his/her/its Ultra-fine texture, With particles smaller than 120 microns, this tiger nut cream offers an unprecedented sensory experience. Its nutritional benefits, such as its high content of iron, potassium, and fiber, as well as the absence of added sugars, make it a superfood for the most demanding and responsible consumer. Although unpasteurized, this tiger nut puree preserves very well.
🟤 Tiger nut puree, with its unique and delicious taste, is ideal for a variety of uses: from the preparation of bars, granolas, and energy balls to the creation of plant-based drinks (recommended ratio 1:3). It is also perfect for naturally recharging energy after physical training.
Naturally gluten-free and free from peanuts, it offers an interesting solution for people who are allergic or intolerant.
> Just like our other products, the tiger nut used is sourced from fair trade in Niger in partnership with Tigernuts.
🟤 Its virtues:
• The tiger nut offers a delicious alternative for the gluten-free diets, without grains, low-carb diets, or nut allergies. It is the perfect substitute for carbohydrates! Its strong satiating power and sweet taste will wonderfully satisfy small cravings without causing a spike in blood sugar levels.
• It is a better source of omega-9 than olive oil! It is also full of vitamins C, E, and antioxidants (rutin) that help fight free radicals, to the extent that the cosmetic industry is interested in it !
• Alkalizing, remineralizing, and energizing, tiger nut is richer in potassium than a banana, making it a good regulator of blood pressure and a muscle protector. It also stimulates calcium absorption.
• It contains many amino acids, particularly arginine, which protects blood flow and combats cramps and headaches.
• Rich in insoluble fibers (33%, which is much more than oats, carrots, or dates), it nourishes the good bacteria in the body and reduces the risk of colon cancer. These fibers, its low glycemic index, and its content of vitamin B8 (biotin) are of great help in cases of diabetes or hypertension. They ensure the proper metabolism of carbohydrates and help reduce blood sugar levels after a rich meal.
• Tiger nut is recommended for intestinal disorders (flatulence, diarrhea, constipation) due to the digestive enzymes it contains (amylase, lipase, and catalase). These enzymes help break down food into nutrients and contribute to their proper intestinal absorption, thus preventing intestinal fermentations. It is also an antibacterial, particularly useful in the prevention of uterine fibroids.
• It is a "survival food": according to German biologist and chemist Walter Scharz, 30g of tiger nuts daily would be enough to meet our fundamental nutritional needs !
• Tiger nut is an aphrodisiac: its content of quercetin and zinc increases testosterone levels in men and estrogen levels in women, impacting energy levels and blood circulation as well as the quality of fluids.
