The honeys (avocado honey and orange blossom honey) we offer have numerous benefits for both the body and the environment:
> Absence of chemical residues: our honeys are not officially certified organic due to the many criteria, duration, and cost required to obtain organic certification, but they come from avocado fields and orange groves cultivated using organic farming. Thus, our honeys are produced from flowers pollinated by bees that have not been exposed to harmful chemicals.
If necessary, the bees are treated with natural methods only, and if phytosanitary products must be used, since they are soluble in fats, they are mainly found in the hive wax and not in the harvested honey.
> Environmental respect: the beekeepers who market our honeys work in harmony with nature to preserve the health of the bees and their habitats, using sustainable methods such as building hives with natural materials that do not harm the bees' work or the environment.
> Superior nutritional quality: our honeys have a slightly higher nutritional content than conventional honey because bees that forage in natural and diverse environments have access to a greater variety of flowers, which can result in a greater diversity of nutrients in the honey. Additionally, there are certain honey harvesting techniques, such as the decantation technique, that preserve all the properties of the honey. Heating and fumigation are not allowed during the extraction of our honeys.
> Furthermore, our honeys are neither pasteurized nor filtered.
> Beneficial properties for the body: our honeys are excellent remedies for our body, well-known in grandmother's remedies, they can reduce stress, inhibit the development of bacteria (they are an excellent antibacterial), soothe sore throats, regulate blood sugar levels... and are also excellent in cosmetics!
