Poor digestion, feeling of heaviness, or simply a desire to detox? Your digestive tract needs rest to regenerate. Doing a few days of intermittent fasting regularly is undoubtedly highly effective for regulating the body and resetting the counters to zero.

Easy to integrate into daily life, intermittent fasting allows for a health practice that does not interfere with or block the course of your life.

What are the benefits?

Stopping food intake allows for digestive rest, during which intestinal cells regenerate. Knowing that a large part of our energy is dedicated to digestion, fasting allows the body to preserve its energy for regeneration.

Dry intermittent fasting is also an excellent practice to adopt for losing weight without frustrating yourself with strict diets. By alternating between fasting periods and balanced eating periods, the body draws on its fat reserves, and weight regulation is much faster. Since digestion is reduced to nothing during dry intermittent fasting, the rest provided to the body improves sleep quality.

Last but not least, dry intermittent fasting prevents many diseases, notably diabetes by regulating insulin levels. It reduces the risk of cardiovascular accidents by lowering bad cholesterol levels and combats the brain aging process.

How to fast properly?

It is interesting to fast according to the 16/8 method. In the evening to allow for a regenerative night without disruption from digestion or in the morning if it is easier for you by starting to hydrate and eat from lunch. Intermittent fasting is more effective when it is dry, that is, without any drink intake because it allows for faster detoxification.

So, what are you waiting for to start fasting? Good habits start today!
