salad methi
Did you know? methi is the Indian name of the fenugrec! in vegetable, herb or spice, it is essential to Indian cuisine as well as in sourvedic phytotherapy. Indeed, it is one of the most complete virtues: hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, galactogenic, aphrodisiac, cardiovascular protector... it still acts as anabolic and improves the assimilation of proteins!
the recipe
(for a plate)
1 large handful of fenugrec seeds
1/3 thinly cut cucumber in quarters
1 dice tomato (or cherry tomato cut in half)
1/2 minced onion
1 small handful of raw cashew nuts
Coriander
The sauce:
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tbsp of marine plasma
1/2 c garam masala coffee
1 lemon juice fillet
pepper
N.B. the salad will also be delicious with young fenugrec shoots! you can add a little apple to balance bitterness
