Did you know ? "Methi" is the Indian name for fenugreek! As a vegetable, herb or spice, it is essential in Indian cuisine as well as in Ayurvedic herbal medicine. Indeed, it is one of the seeds with the most complete properties: hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, galactogen, aphrodisiac, cardiovascular protector ... it still acts as an anabolic and improves the assimilation of proteins!

The recipe :

(For a plate)

  • 1 large handful of sprouted fenugreek seeds
  • 1/3 cucumber, finely cut into quarters
  • 1 diced tomato (or cherry tomatoes cut in half)
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1 small handful of raw cashews
  • coriander

The sauce:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of marine plasma
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 dash of lemon juice
  • pepper

N.B. The salad will also be delicious with young fenugreek shoots! You can you add a bit of apple to balance the bitterness.
