Pear - carawmel tartlets

- Categories : Vegan recipes Rss feed

It's pear season: a fruit rich in water, B9 & C vitamins but also in quercetin, an antioxidant with digestive properties.

The potassium-tannins association would also give it protective properties of the cardiovascular system.

The recipe :

For the dough, mix

  • 100g of almond flour
  • 100g of dates
  • sea salt

Mix and divide in 4.

Garnish with small tart molds, pressing down on the material. Refrigerate.

For the carawmel, mix :

  • 15cl of plant-based milk
  • 50g of dates
  • 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinches of cinnamon, ginger and salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of melted coconut oil

Cut 2 beautiful ripe pears in thin slices. Mix with carawmel and pour into the pie shells. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours before consumption.
