Here are 3 ideas to enjoy sliced tiger nuts!
1- Prepare a raw tart base: it's so easy! To celebrate the return of sunny days, prepare a tart base by mixing sliced tiger nuts and dates in a 50/50 ratio. For the filling, choose your favorite fruits (pears, for example) and add a delicious carawmel.
For the carawmel: blend 15cl of plant-based milk, 50g of dates, 1/2 tsp of lemon juice, 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract, 1 tsp of melted coconut oil, and a few pinches of cinnamon, ginger, and salt to taste.
2- Enjoy a cocoa porridge: very comforting and de-li-cious! Mix a glass of sliced tiger nuts with a glass of plant-based milk in a hot pan. Stir for a few minutes, then place a square of cocoa paste in the center of your porridge and let it melt before enjoying. You can add a few banana slices or the fruits of your choice.
3- Take some energy balls with you for the day! Blend 8 dates with 75g of sliced tiger nuts. Shape the mixture into balls with your hands, and they're ready! You can then roll them in shredded coconut. This recipe doesn't require any sugar because tiger nuts are naturally sweet.
